How can we help?

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I restore my in-app purchases?

Open the Game and go to Settings → Restore Purchases. This will re-apply any non-consumable purchases (such as the Starter Bundle) to your account. Consumable purchases (coin packs) cannot be restored once used - they are spent when coins are added to your balance. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used when you originally purchased.

My progress was lost - what can I do?

Your game progress is stored locally on your device. Progress can be lost if you:

  • uninstalled and reinstalled the Game without a backup;
  • switched to a new device without transferring data;
  • cleared the app's storage in your device settings.

On Android, enabling Google Play Games in the Game's settings activates cloud save, which protects your progress across devices. On iOS, iCloud automatically backs up the Game's local data as part of your device backup if iCloud backup is enabled. We unfortunately cannot restore progress manually as we do not have access to your local data.

How do I enable or disable the leaderboard?

On iOS, leaderboard participation is tied to your Apple Game Center account. You can sign out of Game Center via Settings → Game Center on your device to stop score submissions. On Android, sign out of Google Play Games or revoke the Game’s access in Settings → Apps → Play Games. Within the Game, you can tap your score on the leaderboard screen to toggle participation.

How do I request a refund for an in-app purchase?

Refunds are handled directly by Apple or Google - we are unable to process them ourselves.

  • iOS: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID to request a refund.
  • Android: Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, select Payments & subscriptions → Order history, find your purchase, and tap Request a refund.

The game crashes or won't load - what should I do?

Try these steps in order:

  • Force-quit the Game and reopen it.
  • Restart your device.
  • Check that you have the latest version of the Game installed.
  • Ensure your device's operating system is up to date.
  • Free up storage space if your device is nearly full.

If the problem persists, please email us (see below) with your device model, OS version, and a description of what happens. Your player code (shown in Settings → Player Profile) is helpful for tracking the issue.

How do I redeem a coupon code?

Codes are redeemed on this website, not inside the game. Three steps:

  • In AEONFALL, open Settings → Player Profile and note your player code.
  • Go to the redeem page, enter your player code and the coupon code, complete the human check, and press Redeem.
  • Back in the game, open the inbox from the mail icon on the main menu and press Claim.

Redeeming does not add anything to your account by itself - the reward waits in your inbox until you claim it. Each code works once per player.

What is my player code?

Your player code is the public handle for your AEONFALL account — it looks like AEONP-K7M3-QP9X. Friends add you with it, you need it to redeem a coupon code, and it is worth including when contacting support. Find it under Settings → Player Profile. It is meant to be shared: it is not a password, and nobody can change or delete your account with it.

The account itself is created for you the first time you open the game. There is no sign-up, no email address and no password — signing in with Google is optional, and only so you can reach the same account from a new phone.

Does the game work offline?

Yes. AEONFALL plays fully offline. An internet connection is only used for optional features: submitting scores to the leaderboard, syncing cloud save data via Google Play Games or iCloud, and checking your inbox for rewards from a redeemed coupon code. All core gameplay, including in-game purchases you have already made, works without a connection.

Is there any data collected about me?

Your coins, items and settings stay on your device and are never uploaded — we keep no copy of your save — and the game ships no analytics SDK. The only advertising is a Google AdMob rewarded video on the game-over screen, which appears solely because you tapped to revive — AdMob receives your device’s resettable advertising ID when you do, and nothing at all if you never tap it. What we do keep is your account, created automatically on first launch so that a leaderboard, a friend list and gift deliveries can work: a public player code, a display name you can change (other players see it next to your score), your finished runs, your friends, and which coupons you have redeemed. We never receive your email address; signing in with Google is optional and hands us only an account number. You can erase all of it at any time from Settings → Player Profile → Delete Account. Purchases are handled by Apple / Google under their own privacy policies. This website — not the game — does use Google Analytics to count visits. See our full Privacy Policy for details.

How do coins work?

Coins are the in-game currency. You earn them by playing - coins appear in the rift during runs and are also awarded via daily rewards. You spend them in the shop on power-ups (Time Shield, Slow Time, Coin Magnet, Double Coins), which you then use during a run. If you want more coins faster, optional coin packs are available as in-app purchases through your device’s app store.

I have a suggestion or found a bug - how do I report it?

We genuinely appreciate both. Send us an email with as much detail as possible: what you expected, what happened, your device and OS version, and your player code. Bug reports with steps to reproduce are especially useful.

Still need help?

Email us and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. Include your player code (found in Settings → Player Profile) for faster support.
